DSVT has developed active transponders (the only technology which guarantees 100% reliability).
These transponders do not require a supporting base, nor a pin to hold them in place (saves money, saves time, avoids complications related to collecting deposits for supports).
DSVT transponders "sleep" when they are stored in their case and therefore do not lose any power when they are not being used.
As soon as they are taken out of the charging case, they become active and stay so for up to 20 days of use (depending on the speed at which they cross the line).

DSVT transponders are guaranteed for 3 years (this can be extended to 5 years).

Gold Contacts
Gold is a material which is not affected by corrosion which means that the contacts will always remain fully functional (they are guaranteed 5 years).

Lithium Battery
The batteries only need to be recharged for 3 hours in order to be autonomous for 8to 20 days (depending on the speed at which the transpondrs are being used)
For use once every week-end, DSVT transponders need to be recharged just 5 times throughout the season.
One hour of charge suffices for an entire week-end of timekeeping (there is no memory loss)

0 - 100km/h - precision 0.003 s - 20 days of use - height of detection from 0 to 4 metres
0 - 250km/h - precision 0.001 s - 10 days of use - height of detection from 0 to 3 metres
0 - 350km/h - precision 0.0003 s - 8 days of use - height of detection from 0 to 3 metres
